本命佛印与本命红 [作品]
最近借一个机缘，介绍一下本命佛印在日本人生活中的应用。
大家都知道：在中国有些人很讲究和重视“本命年”，在本名年大家带红腰带，穿红内衣等，所以也叫“本命红”。
在日本，我经常给大家刻“本命佛“印”，我特意在日本推崇沿袭这种风俗习惯也和中国的“本命红”有关的。
这是因为在日本的一次展览中，我隆重推出了一组“本命佛”印，引起了大家的兴趣和关注。
我是根据日本人习惯把印叫朱印。故有意把“本命红”意识与“朱印”和“本命佛”印串连在一起的。
到了自己的本命年求一方“本命佛印”守护，也是一种很有意思的“印文化”吧⋯⋯
大家也许不太知道：十二生肖的守护神叫作“八大守护神”或叫“守命本尊”“本命佛”。
从密宗而来的本命佛是千年以来人们所供奉的佛神。
据说是根据天干地支，十二因缘，金木水火土五行相生等推出八位菩萨保佑十二生肖！故称为“本命佛”，也叫八大守护神！
注意：十二生肖的守护神本命佛不是一一对应的“十二守护神”，而是“八大守护神”或叫“八大本命佛”
“鼠” ⋯⋯⋯年出生的本命佛是——千手观音
“牛、虎” ⋯年出生的本命佛是——虚空藏菩萨
“兔” ⋯⋯⋯年出生的本命佛是——文殊菩萨
“龙、蛇“ ⋯年出生的本命佛是——普贤菩萨
“马” ⋯⋯⋯年出生的本命佛是——大势至菩萨
“羊、猴” ⋯年出生的本命佛是——大日如来
“鸡” ⋯⋯⋯年出生的本命佛是——不动尊菩萨
“狗、猪” ⋯年出生的本命佛是——阿弥陀佛
我在日本出版的《有趣的佛画・佛印・写经》一书中有这样一页可一目了然。
是十年前刚刚有这个设想的时候刻制的，现在看来还有许多地方需要改进，本来想重刻，但有人要得急，也就这样吧⋯⋯不过每尊佛的手印形式姿态都是有讲头的，谨供大家参考啊！
在孩子二十四岁生日时我送她的一方”鼠年千手观音本命佛“印
用的是寿山石，内含”寿命“”守命““寿比南山”之意，讨个吉祥。
刻了三遍（放大图）
用”千手观音“的四十二手代替”千手观音“佛光
褡裢印实大（也叫桥章，鸳鸯章等）
自制印石，中间是“合掌”状，表示我的祈愿
本命红～2岁，12岁，24岁，36岁⋯⋯以此类推
为什么最初是两岁我没研究考证
有一位博友希望我给他的孩子刻一方印来祝贺他孩子的生日，但并不是在”本命年“。
本可以不那么认真，我在国内时也很少了解这方面的知识，今天就借这个机缘说说我在日本刻”本命佛“的议题吧⋯⋯
另有一位博友问我”寿山石“在日本的应用 ？
